I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and am a graduate of Roosevelt High School. I earned my B.A. at the College of Idaho, Caldwell, Idaho (my Seattle friends said "Idaho?! Don't they grow potatoes there?").
Thereafter, I lived in Portland, Oregon for 14 years before heading north to Spokane, Washington, the last city in my "Tour of Living in the Northwest."
About three years after moving to Spokane, someone said "Spokane was an acquired taste." That was the truth! Spokane has almost everything a larger city has except the knarly traffic, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and excellent dim sum.
I earned my law degree at California Southern University Law School, a progressive distance learning program and was on track to qualify for the Washington State Bar exam then....stuff happened veering me off course. Cosmic joke, I think.
My father in heaven, an attorney himself must have other plans for me. The final year of the law clerk program and bar exam are on sabbatical indefinitely. Now I'm running from the law.
My true passion is mediation--put both parties in the room together with me, ditch the lawyers and develop a real solution to the problem.
